Brief Bio

 Roseanna "Rosey" Ruiz, MSW, LCDC, CPC is the Founder and CEO of the following:  Rosey Ruiz, MSW, LCDC, CPC Life Coaching, Counseling & Consulting,; ASPIRE to Win, Inc.; and Positive Changes.  She also conceived and initiated the Re-entry Program at the City of Houston Mayor's Office in 2001.  Her credentials include:  Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Houston; Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor; Certified Professional Life Coach; Certified Anger Resolution Therapist; and Certified Domestic Violence Therapist. 

In addition, Ms. Ruiz is a consultant, motivational speaker, advocate, prison / reentry specialist, and a very active volunteer.  She has received numerous honors and awards, including the Governor's Criminal Justice Volunteer of the Year Award in 2006.   She goes above and beyond the call of duty, working and volunteering tirelessly, to affect positive change in individuals, families, and communities. 

After doing re-entry work with the City of Houston for almost nine years, Roseanna decided to strike out on her own in 2009 to offer counseling and consulting services as well as psycho-educational and life skills classes.   

Her goal is to help individuals find balance and create the life they want and deserve, so they can feel fulfilled.   

Ms. Ruiz brings her experience, expertise and intuitive vision to create innovative programs.  She provides service delivery with the passion and experience to lead, the resources to heal, the creativity and life experiences to inspire, and the passion to make a difference in individuals, families and our community.
